How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Veridian account and all associated data directly from within the app. This action is irreversible.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Veridian app and sign in.

2. Tap the Settings icon (bottom-right corner).

3. Scroll to the bottom and tap 'Delete Account'.

4. Read the confirmation message, then tap 'Delete' to confirm.

Your account and all data — accounts, transactions, categories, and settings — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Delete by Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing privacy@veridianly.com from the address associated with your account. Include 'Account Deletion Request' in the subject line. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, confirming by email when it is done.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove: your email address and credentials, all accounts and balances you created, all transactions and categories, all app settings and preferences.

Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for product improvement purposes.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Veridian account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through the relevant app store before or after deleting your account. Active subscriptions will continue to be billed by the app store until cancelled directly.

To cancel on iOS: go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Veridian → Cancel Subscription.

To cancel on Android: open the Google Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Veridian → Cancel subscription.

Before You Delete

Consider exporting your data first (Settings → Export) if you want to keep a copy of your transaction history. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data.
